well my tree is up!! haha! it's not decorated but its up...it's been up for the last 3 years 24-7! Partly cuz its a real tree that I bought from Walmart as a ornamental decoration thing I thought it would die soon after the holidays, but it didn't so I just keep transplanting it...its about 3 feet tall now and I have mini lights and decorations for it...and I put up my xmas lights up in August! They aren't turned on at night yet, but soon...probably soon as we get snow! or the end of the month which ever comes first...
Xmas is just over 6 weeks away! I love that time of year, not for religious reasons, more for the extra family time and visiting that goes one.
Go a ahead, hang your lights, trim your trim, deck the holly....

i am allowed to put up the tree the day after Grey cup sunday...since i am allergic to touching it, my hubby actually puts it up...he must really love me! i am hosting my 7th annual christmas party the day after grey cup...how funny is that. but i start baking November 11 with cookies and a gingerbread house with the kids...I don't prefer the shopping...but i love the parties and cookie exchanges etc...

I don't put anything Christmas out until the day after Thanksgiving...I like to enjoy each holiday on it's own.

You know my answer! Nov 1st used to be THE day - right after Halloween!! Now with busy lives I get to it as soon as I can! The tree has to wait till Dec because we get a real one! Maybe it is different for Canadians because we have thanksgiving so early.... I am so glad we have it early.... sorry my southern neighbours!!

My story

Welcome to my blessed life!! Meet myself, a 32 year old stay at home momma. Meet hubby, who I have been married to for 14 years. We got married right out of high school, and while there have been many hardships, my husband is my best friend, and I wouldn't change a thing. We are living life with a 6 year old Grade oner, Gracie and 3 year old toddler, Alysha, which has its challenges, but we love every minute of it. God has blessed us with everything we need as well as tonnes of great friends and family.
